The Opportunity
We are on the lookout for an experienced ElectricalDraftsperson to join our Head Office team located in Ascot, WA to work cross a number of significant projects.
Your main responsibility would be to design and draft electrical and instrumentation drawings involved in process plant design on a specific project basis to achieve design outcomes appropriate to the quality, budget and program agreed for each project
Your typical day will consist of (but not limited to)
Produce drawings (hard copy and electronic CAD files) in accordance with client expectations/specification, GRES Standards, Specifications and Procedures, accuracy, content, quality, safety in design, industry best practices, relevant Standards, Codes and By-Laws
Produce drawings/designs for constructability, manufacture, suitability/availability of materials and vendor information
Manage workload to ensure tasks are completed in an orderly manner, within times required for various projects
What we are looking for:
Designer/Drafting qualifications / diploma, CAD certification or skills
Knowledge of current design and detail drafting standards
Detailed knowledge of CAD design packages and CAD systems
High level communication skills
Demonstrated problem solving skills in a design context
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a process design/consultancy
Experience with mineral process plant Electrical design
Understanding EPC and EPCM culture goals
Demonstrated problem solving skills in a design context
Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, skills, codes and standards, relevant by-laws and standard industry practices
Be able to transmit clear and concise information through drawings to engineers
Minimum of 10 years design experience
Full and Unrestricted Australian working rights
