GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

The Opportunity:

The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, processing documentation, coordinating shipments and deliveries, and ensuring efficient communication between warehouse staff, suppliers, and customers. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Maintain and update inventory records and warehouse databases.
  • Process purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and shipping documents.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, carriers, and customers.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory counts and stock reconciliations.
  • Prepare reports on inventory, shipping activities, and warehouse performance.
  • Ensure all warehouse documentation is accurate and filed correctly.
  • Assist with PPE coordination, distribution, packing, and stock management.
  • Assist with scheduling deliveries and managing transport logistics.
  • Respond to internal and external queries regarding inventory and shipments.
  • Support compliance with workplace health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, record keeping, and correspondence.

About You

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • Previous experience in warehouse administration, logistics, inventory control, or a similar role.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong data entry and record-keeping skills.
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
