About Us

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high-quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Health, Safety and Training Advisor to join our growing team, where you will provide trusted leadership, influence positive safety outcomes, and support the successful delivery of projects across Australia.

Your typical day will consist of

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of HSE system documentation, including standards, procedures, forms and templates
  • Providing regular analysis and reporting of metrics to the business to communicate progress against HSET plans and key objectives
  • Provide training and mentoring on site
  • Provide remote support when based in the office

About you

  • Experience in mining, construction or project environment
  • WHS auditing, inspections, and assurance experience
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
  • Certificate IV TAE
  • Knowledge of WHS legislation and safety systems
  • ICAM investigation training
  • Construction White Card
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Full and unrestricted Australian working rights
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence positive safety outcomes
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn and continuously improve
