The Opportunity

We are on the lookout for an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join our Ascot Team.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager,the suitable candidate will be responsible for researching and negotiating the best price and service for company requirements.

Your typical day will consist of:

• Liaising with internal stakeholders ,clients, suppliers, manufacturers and service providers
• Managing project-specific procurement and purchasing processes 
• Preparing reports related to project-specific procurement and purchases commitments within Project timelines to Project Managers 
• Liaising with other Procurement and Contract stakeholders to manage and maintain vendor and equipment pricing databases
• Tracking purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery
• Entering order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into our internal database - GreenTree
• Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled

What we are looking for:

• 3 years experience in a Purchasing Officer/Coordinator or similar role
• Experience using Greentree Software *highly regarded 
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights *essential 
• Excellent time management,organisational and communication skills 
• Experience in logistics and expiditing * beneficial 
• Must be PC Savvy *essential 
• An understanding of supply chain procedures and vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors) *beneficial
