About Us:

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high-quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Piping Supervisor to join our growing site-based team for projects across Australia.

As one of our supervisors, you would report directly to the Construction Manager, the successful candidates will need high attention to detail and quality, and the ability to prioritise their workload in a busy and dynamic working environment.

This role will be on a roster of 2:1 ex Perth or other major cities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and evaluate workmanship and quality
  • Oversee the Piping (SMP) construction, ensuring that it is in compliance with GRES standards
  • Enforce safe work practices, ensuring that all personnel are adequately trained and supported and that HSE standards are met
  • Ensure that the project is kept on schedule and within budget
  • Actively participate and lead by example “Safe Work Practices” and behaviour

Skills/Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role, with at least 5 years’ experience in a Supervisory role
  • Australian recognised Trade Qualification *essential 
  • White card
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver the message effectively
  • Proven leadership skills 
  • Current High Risk Work Licences
  • Current National Police clearance (within 6 months)
  • Relevant Supervisors certificates for S26 *essential
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Ability to pass a Medical and DAS
  • Full and unrestricted Australian working rights *essential - no sponsorship available
