About Us:

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

We currently have multiple projects on the go and our projection for growth means we are actively looking for talent across all areas of our business.

The Opportunity:

We are on the lookout for an experienced CAD Administrator to join our Head Office in Ascot, reporting to the Drawing Office Manager. 

Based out of our Ascot office you would work on various projects across a variety of commodities ( gold ,copper, iron ore etc) with regular site visits depending on project requirements 

A typical day will consist of:

  • Providing production CAD support across all projects
  • Manage and maintain CAD software, licensing, inventory, and system configurations
  • Organise and optimise the CAD environment, including server monitoring, daily backups and software configuration
  • Ensure all work and training conform to relevant codes, standards, and project requirements

About you:

  • Extensive experience with drafting packages: Solid Edge, Autocad, Tekla
  • Minimum of 10 years design experience
  • Broad experience with 3D CAD platforms and modelling workflows
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills in a design context
  • Full and unrestricted Australian working rights *essential
  • Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills
