About Us:

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

We currently have multiple projects on the go and our projection for growth means we are actively looking for talent across all areas of our business.

The Opportunity:

We are on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to join our Project department working alongside a multidisciplined team to deliver outstanding results across various projects in the mining and minerals industry

Based out of our Ascot office you would work on various projects across Australia across a variety of commodities ( gold ,copper, iron ore etc) with regular site visits depending on project requirements 

A typical day will consist of:

  • Manage and lead the culture on site for a large multidisciplinary team
  • Overseeing all construction operations on site, leading the site works through its various stages from commencement to handover
  • Drive budget, schedule and the overall delivery of the project
  • Liaise with client representatives and maintain a good client-contractor relationship
  • Enforce safe work practices, ensuring that all personnel are adequately trained and supported and that HSE standards are met
  • Review site plans to ensure relevance to the project as construction work is progressed through to completion
  • Understand and assess potential Project risks and ensure mitigation measures are in place
  • Ensure compliance with GRES/Client policies, company standards and safe work procedures

About you:

  • Experience in a similar role, with at least 10 years experience in a Construction/ Project Management role
  • Qualified professional engineering and/or trades skilled background 
  • Previous design management or construction management experience particularly in the mineral resource or materials handling industries
  • Knowledge of current construction and mining industry safety legislation and standards
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Proven leadership skills 
  • Current National Police clearance
  • White Card 
  • Full and unrestricted Australian working rights
