About Us:

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

We currently have multiple projects on the go and our projection for growth means we are actively looking for talent across all areas of our business.

The Opportunity:

We are on the lookout for a experienced Designers across several disciplines Civil (Concrete) , Piping and Mechanical to join our Head Office in Ascot, reporting to the Drawing Office Manager. 

Based out of our Ascot office you would work on various projects across a variety of commodities ( gold ,copper, iron ore etc) with regular site visits depending on project requirements 

A typical day will consist of:

• Produce drawings (hard copy and electronic CAD files) in accordance with client specification, GRES Standards and industry best practices
• Be able to transmit clear and concise information through drawings to engineers
• Manage workload to ensure tasks are completed in an orderly manner, within times required for various projects
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and quality in the design documentation produced for activities under their control
• Experience in the preparation and review of design documents to schedules

About you:

• Extensive experience with discpine specific drafting packages such as Solid Edge, Autocad, Tekla , Civil 3D
• Minimum of 10 years design experience
• Broad experience with 3D CAD platforms and modelling workflows
• Demonstrated problem solving skills in a design context
• Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills
• Certificate or Diploma in Design or Engineering *beneficial 
• Experience with mineral process plants and bulk materials handling projects
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights
